On September 11th took place at the European Parliament headquarters in Brussels, the launching event of the "CuTE: Cultivating the Taste of Europe" programme under the patronage of MEP Mrs. Clara Aguilera. The event began with a press conference offered by Mrs.Aguilera, Mr. Juan Marín (President of FruitVegetablesEUROPE), Mr. Lauren Bergé (President of AOPn Tomates & Concombres de France), Mr. Michel Picquet (Vice President of AOPn Fraises de France), Mr. Francisco Góngora, on behalf of Manuel Galdeano, president of APROA, Mr. Witold Boguta (President of KZGPOiW), Mr. Jorge Brotóns (President of FEPEX) and Mrs. Alba Ridao-Bouloumié (General Secretary of FruitVegetablesEUROPE ).

After the press conference, the EUROTOUR “Mobile Greenhouse” was officially opened in the Ágora Simone Veil square. Students from Brussels schools and the general public visited the mobile greenhouse to learn more about these greenhouse production methods. Numerous representatives of the European sector, European and national institutions and EU interest groups actively participated in all the programming of the event making the launch of the campaign a resounding success.
