APPLE PIE
INGREDIENTS
For the dough
• 2 cups (250 grams) wheat flour
• 2 teaspoons table salt
• 2/3 cup (140 grams) butter
• 6 tablespoons cold water
Filling
• 4 - 6 apples, peeled, disheartened and sliced
• 3/4 cup of sugar
• 1 teaspoon cinnamon
• 1 teaspoon vanilla
PREPARATION
Preheat oven to 180 °C.
Mix the flour with salt and butter. Add the water, until you have a smooth and uniform dough, but don't overwork it. Roll out the dough with a roller on a floured surface and line the bottom and walls of a foot mold with it. Mix the apples with the sugar, cinnamon and vanilla. Place on top of the pie dough.
Bake the pie until the crust is golden brown and the apple is softened, 35 to 50 minutes. Ready!
